jo-ann Stokes - I really found your travel photos very interesting ….it gave me a really good insight as to the Moscow way of life. Its actually quite weird …there is such a mix of beautiful architecture and garish architecture. Also as i looked at the day to day lives of the Russians i wondered how difficult it must be to go from a Communistic state to a capitalistic system. Got to say i absolutely love that grafitti wall ….if only we could find something like that in Cape Town! You did really well in getting candid shots in the underground and on the train. It is not easy to shoot from the hip ……and the fact that you got some pics of commuters with them being totally unaware of you …shows how successful you were. I am now looking quite forward to Part 2!

wil punt - Wow – great stuff visiting Moscow with you! Felt so real! Thanks man!

It doesn’t matter what you do, somewhere somehow, we all go through a bit of a slump.

This is a gorgeous image, i love how the soft dress and beauty of the model, is enhanced against the rough edges of the wall and colours of the light shining through the ‘windows’.

I remember reading about Lace Blossom, with this image in tow, on Christine Meintjes blog :) Since then this image has stuck in my mind! All the best for 2011, for both you and your wife !
