Wedding | Vindoux Guest Farm, Tulbagh | Lloyd & Lara

Lara & Lloyd celebrated their wedding day at the beautiful Vindoux Guest Farm in Tulbagh. I was so excited when I heard that the theme for their wedding is Tim Burton. Movies have always been one of my sources for drawing inspiration and I surely love Tim Burton’s work. Lisa Schoeman from Talk Functions was the coordinator that brought their ideas to life. The  ceremony started at noon followed by a picnic lunch on the lawn. The Lara and her father walked down the isle on the song from Nightmare before Christmas, “This is Halloween”. Board game and playing cards was placed on table at the picnic area for the guest to have some  play with during the afternoon. Lara & Lloyd’s three dogs was also part of the guest list. Snoekie, one of three dogs, only has three legs after loosing one leg in a car accident.  But boy… he moves and jumps like he have four. Incredible!

On the other side of the vineyard,  big marque tent was setup for the reception later that evening. Each table was named after a character out of Tim Burton’s movies. Two bands rocked out on stage later that evening while the guest got down on the dance floor and boogied. This was one crazy yet relaxed wedding day that I loved to photograph.
