Here is the wedding that I have been waiting for a few weeks to blog now! These are the beautifulmoments from Lloyd & Laetitia’s wedding day. The last time I saw these two love birds was with their “Save the Date” photos in the end of last year. Their wedding day was truly an awesome experience to photograph.
First up was their beautiful wedding on a boat just outside of the harbor (felt like I was on this cool boat with the hot chicks inthe Bahamas). This was my first wedding at sea and I didn’t let a little sea sickness get ahold of me. I had a fabulous time on the boat photographing some awesomemoments and enjoying the ride! With a lot of adrenaline pumping and a few wobblysea legs, we persuaded the great Long Street in Cape Town for their couple session. Iplayed around with a few actions in the editing process to give it that classicNew Yorklook. We returned to the Grand Daddy Hotel where they had a feast with their guests and partied the night away! The GrandDaddy is one of my favorite new venues and it is a photographer’s dream venue(just so many cool spot). Again, big thanks to Lloyd & Laetitia. You were the stars of your wedding day! Thankyou for making me part of your fabulous day. All of the best for New Guinea.I have said enough, let the photos speak for themselves…

I got to know Carl & Lelani better after I photographed their engagement session on Blaauwbergstrand. We really enjoyed ourselves that afternoon even if it was windy. We finished off the afternoon with a glass of champagne and a great sunset. I am also photographing their wedding photos in May this year. Carl & Lelani, if this is the results that we’ve achieved with the e-session, I can’t wait for your wedding. You guys are a great couple! Here are a few fun images from their engagement session. Keep your eyes on the blog for their wedding… coming soon!

Malcolm and Retha tied the knot in the beautiful Dutch Reformed Church in Philadelpia. Die Meul was the beautiful venue where they held their reception for their guests. As I said on a previous post, Philadelpia is really a small, beautiful little town in the country side of the Swartland. I photographed Malcolm and Retha in the streets and footsteps of all the colorful houses in the area. At the reception Malcolm and his best men dance performed on “Thriller” from Michael Jackson (gave us all a good laugh). I am really happy with the end results! Here are a few images that sumed up the day… enjoy!

I assisted Jean Pierre Uys at a Kluk & CGDT Fashion Show. Our goal was to capture the main event, all the celebrities and to get some creative behind the scenes images. The really beautiful color lights gave us really great opportunities to capture really creative photographs. The fashion show had a fun twist to it. Instead of a catwalk there were about 6 platforms with steps for the models to stand on and display the clothing. From great dancers to a great orchestra, what more could we ask for. Here are some of the images that really move me.

Finally, first post in a long time and it is about time! Bernard & Anja got married at the Rawsonville Dutch Reformed Church in Rawsonville. This was a lovely wedding with countryside of Rawsonville and Slanghoek as the setting. I took pictures of Bernard & Anja on their family farm before traveling to Opstal in Slanghoek for the reception. I’ve started to play around with different colors in my editing just to give some images a different look. My favorite image is the one with the couple and the stained glass window in the church. Hope you enjoy these pictures.
