The day after Quintin & Michelle’s wedding, we met up for a final time before they were off on their honeymoon. I had a Day After Shoot inmind for them. With their casual clothes on, we photographed a few pictures down at the rocks at Plettenberg Park Hotel and a few in Plettenberg. Their two little dogs were also included in some of the pictures. The dogs were really cute and easy to work with (Aaah, What a happy family!). Here are some of my favorite pictures. If you still have not seen their wedding pictures, do yourself a favor and go and have a look! Cheers for now!

Finally, the last wedding of 2008. Christoph and Jade got married in the St. Nicholas Catholic Church in Stellenbosch. Christoph came over all the way from Germany with his friend and family to get married to our local girl, Jade. After their beautiful ceremony, we traveled to Nelson’s Creek, just outside Wellington, for their reception. Jade was truly a beautiful bride and I really loved bringing out her natural beauty in the photographs (Christoph, you are a lucky guy!). Even Christoph was fun to work with. I love the beautiful natural feeling in their couple session. You can see that there is chemistry between the two of them (Love is in the air…). Sadly, we say goodbye to Jade as she leaves her homeland to start a new life with her husband in Germany.
Jade & Christoph, thank you for being such a great couple to work with. Best of wishes for the both of you and know that you will have a great life together in Germany. Maybe I’ll come and visit you one day in Germany. Boy, what a wedding to end off the year. There were so many great moments, but I had to pin-point it down to my absolute favorites! Good bye and enjoy the photos… Auf Wiedersehen und die Fotos genießen!

Hannes & Cindy got married in the Dutch Reformed Church in the beautiful little town, Philadelpia. Philadelpia is located in the middle of now-where in the Swartland district amongst all the beautiful grain farms. It is a small town (seriously), but has so much charactor. We started off in the town and eventually photographed a few shots on the farms close by. After the couple session we hed back towards the reception at Eensgezind. Thank you Hannes & Cindy for you cooperation and for being such easy people to work with. Here is my favorites from their wedding day (Please note that most of them are black & white). Enjoy! Quintin and Michelle contact me in the middle of last year and asked me if I would be willing to photograph their wedding in Plettenberg Bay. I aggreed without thinking twice. Since this was our first time in Plettenberg Bay, Zani and Amelie accopanied on the trip. After the wedding we traveled around the garden route and took a bit of a brake from work. This was one of my favorite weddings of 2008. This might feel like a show and tell session at Primery School. So buckle up, here we go!

On Tuesday I did a photo shoot for my dad’s consultancy, namely Strong Message Consultancy, which specialises in business consultancy. Typical business issues include change management, strategic planning, culture alignment, leadership development, team development, and customer and employee satisfaction. My dad, Mario Denton, travels the world (literally the whole world) and teaches at other universities and business schools. Strong Message Consultancy is currently undergoing a make-over, with a new image and website being launched soon. My brother, Desmond Denton, got on board at the end of last year to be part of the media and film division of the consultancy. He is also very creative and adds a fresh experiential and interactive element to all the training and development my dad will be presenting in the future.

One Sunday afternoon, we visited Zani’s Cousin, Zeta, and I took a few pictures of her little daughter, Nicola. Nicola is about one and a half years old and she is getting a little baby sister later this year. We walked up to a little park close to their house, photographing a few great images of Nicola eating flowers and sitting in the long grass. Here is a few images.
