Gareth & Helen got married on the beautiful beach of Yzerfontein. Wedding Concepts were the coordinators at their wedding. Here are some of the highlights of their stunning wedding day.
Ayis & Madri celebrated their wedding day at Hyatt Regency Golf Resort & Spa in Oubaai. Oubaai Golf Club is Ernie Els’ first signature golf course in South Africa and what a truly stunning setting it is. Madri have done modeling work in the past and was really easy to photograph. Their ceremony was held in the Greek Orthodox Church in George. Back at the Oubaai, a big tent was set up on the Golf Course for the reception later that evening. With Ayis being Greek, there was some Greek dancing and breaking of plate. I really enjoyed all the unique moments at this wedding, especially the dancing. Here is part 1 of the their wedding day. Sachin & Lucy visited Cape Town recently to travel around South Africa and to celebrate their 7th wedding anniversary. Sachin (originally from India) & Lucy (Uruguayan) lives in New York. They had two ceremonies when they got married 7 years ago; first in New York and then in India. A few weeks before the trip, Sashin e-mailed me and asked if I would like to photograph a couple shoot with them. I immediately said yes. On the first day of 2012, I met up with them to photographed some portraits in and around Cape Town. The weather wasn’t too good for summer time, but still it created moody clouds shots. Sachin was generous to lend me his Canon 50mm 1.2 L lens to play around with during the shoot. Congrats again Sachin & Lucy on your wedding anniversary and thank you for the opportunity to photograph the two of you. It was great to sit down and get to know the two of you. beautiful set of images Duwayne!!
To start of the year with a bang, I have decided to post the wedding photos of Jacques & Yolande. Yolande is fellow photography friend in the industry (YSP) and she also runs a small business, The Desert Rose Project. They decided to tie the not in small little town of Philadelphia. Their ceremony was held at the N.G. Church Philadelphia and the reception was held just across the road, at De Malle Meule. Colorful was word that came to mind when I started to photograph the wedding; from the decor to the beautiful day. Their day was filled with beautiful emotions and beautiful moments. Something that stood out for me were the cuff links that Jacques wore on the day. The represent two different star tattooed on his arm. The grain was just harvested that time of the year. The combination of the harvested golden grain fields with bales and the big blue sky really was a stunning setting.

Dit is ongelooflik mooi! Dit was so ‘n wonderlike dag met twee baie besondere mense, alles was 100% perfek en met sulke opregte fotos kan mens vir altyd al daardie spesiale oomblikke onthou.
WOW! Absoluut stunning! Ons was ongelukkig nie daar, maar die gevoelens wat ek ervaar deur net na die fotografie te kyk is onbeskryflik. Yolande en Jacques is ‘n awesome couple!
Du Wayne, dis moeilik om ‘n comment te skryf op ons eie troufoto’s, want mens wil nie te ” braggerig” klink nie. Maar een ding wat ons wel kan sê, dit was ‘n baie goeie belegging en ons beleef die 5de November oor en oor in jou foto’s. As mens deur lag en trane gaan dan weet jy, ” we had a good time”!

Dit is so, so mooi. Die landelikheid van die hele geleentheid is so mooi en dan het J & Y so pragtig gelyk dit is so jammer ons kon nie die troue bywoon nie. Duwayne, julle is uitstekend, alles wat belangrik is vasgelê. Baie baie mooi julle is aan te beveel.
Yolande het so mooi gelyk en sy en Jacque maak ‘n beautiful couple!! Baie mooi werk Duwayne – het elke oomblik van die troue mooi vasgevang. Die koring velde is ‘n gunstelling en die landscape is pragtig!
